It National Counselor's Week and we love our counselor, Mrs. Hunt!
Mrs. Hunt says:
"I help support the social-emotional needs of the school so that all students can feel safe, encouraged, and ready to learn. Being a school counselor is important because we help identify barriers that may hinder students’ academic success, and we advocate for their social-emotional well-being. School counselors help to support students when they need a safe place to share their life’s challenges. I want to add that I’m very grateful that I get to be a school counselor and that I get to help support the students with a great team at Knapp Elementary."
