Wendy Eidson graduated from Springdale High School and attended Harding University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Middle Level Education. She started her teaching career at Helen Tyson Middle School in Springdale, then transferred to the Archer Learning Center. While teaching at ALC, Mrs. Eidson completed her master’s degree in ESOL/English at Arkansas Tech University. She taught at DTSOI for a few years before coming back home to Springdale High School, where she has taught for the last five years. Mrs. Eidson is certified to teach 4-8 English, Science, Math, History, Careers, FACS/Business, Oral Communications, ESL K-12, and College Education classes. She currently teaches FACS and College Education classes and sponsors the SHS EdRising Club for future teachers. Mrs. Eidson and her husband Michael have been married for almost a year and between the two of them have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Moose, a 4 year old Huskydoodle, is their only “child” at home. Mrs. Eidson loves traveling, food festivals, watching sports, and entertaining on her patio. On school breaks she can be found on a warm beach somewhere or hanging out with her husband and dog on the patio.
