Springdale High School

Northwest Technical Institute is offering a $2,000 scholarship to students interested in obtaining their NCCER Core and OSHA 10 certifications. The Office of Skills Development is providing this training free to students who apply. The term "Scholarship" is being used so the students understand the value of this opportunity as that is the cost of the class. Students should be 16 years of age or older. The two-week course will be held on the NWTI campus. There are four sessions to choose from. Students do not need to miss any of the days.

The Treehouse Pantry is providing food bags to Springdale Families impacted by the severe weather. These food bags will be available today through the rest of the week. Families can pick up food bags at the Treehouse Pantry located at 802 West Allen Avenue from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m (March 30 - April 1). Families are also welcome to call the Springdale School District's HelpLine at 479-409-5031 to speak with a counselor or social worker. Thank you.
